Welcome to Military Cadets of Southern Maine
Military Cadets of Southern
Maine welcomes you to the M.C.S.M. home page. The Military Cadets of
Southern Maine is a unit of the United States Military Cadet Corps of
the American Cadet Alliance. The American Cadet Alliance provides youth
of character ages 12 to 18 a mentally and physically challenging high
adventure experience based on the traditions of the United States
military. The Military Cadets of Southern Maine is organized into a US
Army Cadet Platoon and a US Marine Cadet Platoon. Monthly meetings are
held at The Maine Army National Guard Armory at 55 Alfred Plourde
Parkway, Lewiston, Maine and Lewiston High School, 156 East Ave,
Lewiston, Maine. The cadet program uses a curriculum that parallels the
Army Junior ROTC curriculum and stresses military discipline, fitness,
citizenship, patriotism, character education, career education, and high
adventure activities.
The Military Cadets of
Southern Maine is looking for young men and women who have the desire to
excel and who have what it takes to earn the title “Military Cadet”. If
